High-level international round table "Prospects for the development of mandatory funded and mixed pension systems"

On September 28, 2023, an international high-level round table "Prospects for the development of mandatory funded and mixed pension systems" will be held, organized by the Unified Accumulative Pension Fund in cooperation with the International Social Security Association (ISSA) as part of the calendar of events for the 25th anniversary of the funded pension system of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The purpose of the conference is to discuss initiatives in the pension sector and analyze modern approaches to solving pension issues in different countries, taking into account the best world practices.

The delegates of the conference will be addressed by honored guests, among whom will be representatives of the ISSA, international organizations, foreign government agencies, pension funds, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the regulation and development of the financial market, etc.

At the conference, participants will discuss the key tasks of pension provision and modern ways to solve them, taking into account the best world practices, as well as the future of pension systems: prospects, key development drivers, and much more.

The conference will include panel sessions and discussions on topics such as population aging and pension reform, coverage and awareness of the population, investment strategies, risk management and supervisory regulation, etc.

The sections of the round table will be moderated by such recognized world experts and architects of the Kazakhstan funded pension system as Grigory Marchenko, Bolat Zhamishev, Oraz Zhandosov, Anvar Saidenov.
