Over 1.9 million applications received from about 1 million applicants, amounting to more than KZT3.7 trillion, were executed by UAPF JSC (hereinafter referred to as UAPF, Fund) in order to improve living conditions and (or) pay for medical treatment. Let us remind you that pension savings can be used by contributors (beneficiaries) an unlimited number of times within the limits of the amount of pension savings in the UAPF available for withdrawal in order to improve living conditions and (or) pay for medical treatment, and (or) transfer to investment portfolio managers (hereinafter referred to as IPM).
From January 1, 2024, on behalf of the Head of State, it is planned to launch the National Fund for Children program, within the framework of which all minor citizens of Kazakhstan will annually receive 50% of the investment income of the National Fund of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as the National Fund). In addition, amounts accrued to children in previous years will continue to be invested as part of the National Fund’s assets. As a result, investment income will be additionally accrued to them.
The UAPF reminds that from 01.01.2024, the current funded system will be supplemented with a new conditional funded component - mandatory employer pension contributions (MEPC).
Contributors choose different formats for receiving them.
The Unified Accumulative Pension Fund for 10 months of the current year (from 01.01 to 01.11. 2023) provided its contributors with more than 20 million services, of which about 14.4 million in electronic format, more than 4.7 million in automatic format. Over 1 million transactions were carried out in person, including in the fund’s offices and during field service.
The volume of pension savings of Kazakhstanis as of November 1, 2023 amounted to KZT17.2 trillion. Over the year, it increased by KZT3.1 trillion or 21.7%, and from January to October 2023 - by KZT2.5 trillion or 17.4%.
For 10 months of 2023, the accounts of UAPF contributors received net investment income in the amount of KZT1.23 trillion, which exceeds the same period last year by KZT578.11 billion or 89.3%.
