The regular 27^th meeting of the Public Council at UAPF JSC took place, in which representatives of investment portfolio managers (IPM) took part - BCC Invest JSC, Halyk Global Markets JSC, Jusan Invest JSC, Centras Securities JSC, Halyk Finance JSC. As part of the approved agenda, each of them presented their investment strategy, provided reports and answered questions from meeting participants.

A group of Kazakh experts who stood at the origins of the formation of the financial market and funded pension system in the republic Grigory Marchenko, Oraz Zhandossov, Bolat Zhamishev, Kadyrzhan Damitov, Anvar Saidenov, Elena Bakhmutova developed and sent for consideration to the Head of State a number of proposals to improve the financial stability and adequacy of the pension system Kazakhstan.

As of May 1, 2024, about 96.5% of pension assets are formed through the timely transfer of compulsory pension contributions (CPC).

1.  How can I check the amount of my pension savings?

The amount of your savings can be checked in your Personal Account on the UAPF website or mobile application. 

On June 11, 2024, as part of the informational and explanatory work among the population, an Open Day on the topic "Digital UAPF. Innovations in the Fund's electronic services" took place in all branches of "UAPF" JSC in an online format. As it is known, "UAPF" JSC pays great attention to the digitalization of its services and considers it one of the important directions in its activities. As of today, more than 90% of the total volume of services are provided in digital format. Participants of the event had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with how this process works and also learned about the new possibilities of digital services.

The UAPF continues to receive applications for the use of targeted savings within the framework of the National Fund for Children program.

As part of the informational and explanatory work among the population, on June 11, 2024, " UAPF" JSC will hold an "Open Day" on the topic: "Digital UAPF. Innovations in the electronic services of the Fund."

Persons who have pension savings in the UAPF, formed through compulsory pension contributions (CPC) and (or) compulsory occupational pension contributions (COPC), and who have reached the generally established retirement age, as well as persons with disabilities of the first and second groups, if the disability is established for an indefinite period, have the right to receive pension payments from the UAPF according to the established schedule.

According to the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the population of the country as of January 1, 2024 was more than 20 million people. At the same time, the following breakdown by age group was observed: under 25 years old - 8.5 million people. (42.6%), from 25 to 65 years old - 9.7 million people. (48.5%), over 65 years old - 1.8 million people. (8.9%).

In the period from January 01, 2024 until April 30, 2024, the Unified Accumulative Pension Fund provided over 21.5 million services to the population. Of the total number - more than 7.9 million were carried out in electronic format, in automatic format - about 13.0 million; in remote format - 0.2 million. More than 399 thousand services were provided in person, including about 381 thousand directly in the Fund’s offices.

For 4 months of 2024, the net investment income of Kazakhstanis amounted to about KZT517.6 bln, which is more than KZT48.6 bln or 10.4% of the same period last year.

UAPF JSC (hereinafter - UAPF) presents a report on the management of pension assets by the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter - NBRK) and investment portfolio managers (hereinafter - IPM) on the website enpf.kz in the section "Indicators - Investment activities".

About KZT19 trln was accumulated in the UAPF as of May 1, 2024 in individual and notional accounts of contributors (beneficiaries). Over the year, pension savings increased by more than KZT3.3 trln (or 21.1%). In just 4 months since the beginning of the year, their increase amounted to about KZT1.12 trln (6.2%).

UAPF JSC announces that it has successfully undergone an external recertification audit for compliance with the quality management system requirements of the international quality management standard ISO 9001:2015 without any non-conformities detected. 

As of May 1, 2024, within the framework of the National Fund for Children program, UAPF JSC executed (transferred to authorized operators for crediting to the bank accounts of applicants) 5,845 applications for a total amount of 585,641.64 US dollars, of which for the purpose of improving housing conditions, 2,634 applications were fulfilled in the amount of 263,664.90 US dollars, for payment of education - 3,211 applications in the amount of 321,976.74 US dollars.
